SITE CONDITIONS : The land allocated to the community has been divided into plots of 30x40. the north of this parcel of land is abutted by thick forests and coffee estates, towards the east, a small stream flows, creating opportunities for beautiful vistas. The stream swells into the site, causing erosion on the plots abutting it, during monsoon.
ABOUT : The Panierava tribe, has been released from bonded labour with the help of a local NGO. The land has been allocated to the community, but they do not have the capital strength to invest in a pakka house. Nivasa, along with DAIDA are making efforts in building houses for the community, we are beginning with one prototype house for one family in the community.
