This pilot housing project was designed as a climate-responsive and expandable rural home, responding to local materials, construction practices, and living patterns. The layout allows incremental growth and flexibility based on the family’s needs and budget, while ensuring comfort in Udupi’s heavy monsoon climate.
Developed in collaboration with the Udupi District Administration, the project serves as a reference model for dignified, affordable housing for vulnerable communities across the region.
