At Nivasa, engagement goes beyond participation — it is about walking alongside communities, questioning conventional practice, and contributing time, skill, or resources with care and responsibility.
If our values resonate with you, there are several ways to engage with our work -

We work with volunteers who are interested in meaningful, skill-based engagement rather than transactional contributions. Architects, students, researchers, writers, and practitioners contribute across design, documentation, site work, research, and reflection.
Engagements may be short-term or long-term, depending on the nature of the work and availability.

We collaborate with organisations, institutions, governments, and collectives that share a commitment to context-responsive design and social equity. Partnerships may span design projects, research, implementation, or long-term programmatic work.
If you believe our values align, we would be glad to explore possibilities together.

Nivasa actively engages in knowledge exchange through studios, talks, workshops, and collaborative learning platforms. These spaces are meant for dialogue — between practice and academia, field realities and design thinking.
If you are interested in learning from or contributing to these conversations, we welcome you.

We are a small, evolving team and periodically look for people who align with our values and working approach. Roles may include full-time positions, internships, fellowships, or project-based collaborations.
More than specific skills, we value sensitivity to context, patience in process, and ethical practice.
Write to us and tell us how you’d like to engage. We’re always open to conversations rooted in shared intent.
