This housing prototype is organised through a clear four-zone strategy—verandah, core house, courtyard, and utility—allowing flexibility and incremental growth over time. The verandah acts as a social threshold, the core house provides enclosed living space with a loft for storage, and the courtyard supports everyday activities and user-led adaptations using locally familiar construction.
The layout allows the unit to be expanded or divided based on changing family needs and budgets, making it a scalable, climate-responsive model for rural housing.
