MODEL TALUK PANCHAYAT OFFICE

  •  Area: 10,700 sq.ft
    Year: 2021
Location: Prototype for Gov of Karnataka under MNREGA

  • This project proposes a model Taluk Panchayat office that rethinks everyday public workspaces through principles of wellbeing, efficiency, and dignity. Responding to research linking poorly designed offices to health and productivity issues, the design prioritises daylight, natural ventilation, visual connectivity, and access to shared spaces.
  • The proposal introduces a flexible and modular planning system that can be adapted to different sites and budgets while maintaining consistent spatial quality. Designed through a participatory process with stakeholders, the project demonstrates how cost-effective architectural interventions can significantly improve working environments within government infrastructure.
